2. Schedule an intake phone call (15-30 minutes), once package is purchased.

*We will gather all the specifics you hope to achieve. We will give you homework to provide us with the details of the scope of work and areas you want styled within the allotted timeframe.  

3. Next, we will confirm our shopping & styling date and time with you.

4. At this time it will also be a great time to locate and decide on the 2 stores we will be shopping at.  

5. You will need to gather and/or move any items that we will be replacing on our styling date. All items we will be reusing should be cleaned and ready to be styled.

Personal Shopper & Styling Package Includes but not limited to:
An 8-hour day with your personal designer. We're here to assist you in planning, selecting, and styling your chosen areas. This quick refresher allows you to have us at your service for the entire day.

What to expect:

1. Purchase Personal Shopper & Styling Package by clicking on the ‘purchase now’ button below.

2. Schedule an intake phone call (15-30 minutes)

*We will gather all the specifics you hope to achieve. We will give you homework to provide us with the details of the scope of work and areas you want styled within the allotted timeframe.  

(Any additional hours will be billed at the regular design rate for refreshers of $225/hr)

3. Next, we will confirm our shopping & styling date and time with you.

*At this time it will also be a great time to locate and decide on the 2 stores we will be shopping at.  

(SDIDG will not be responsible for the item's price, location, or availability). 

4. You will need to gather and/or move any items that we will be replacing on our styling date. All items we will be reusing should be cleaned and ready to be styled.

On the Big Day we will:

(The typical shopping/styling day will look like this)

1. The clock starts now...

At the confirmed time, one of our talented designers will arrive at your home and begin confirming final measurements and reviewing the space and existing decor with you on-site. This is scheduled to take a maximum of 20-30 minutes. 

2. We will drive to the 2 store(s) (2 locations previously selected) and begin our shopping. (*The drive time to and from stores is included in the 8 hours.)

3. After purchasing the items, we will return them to your home and install them. (* All purchases will be the client's responsibility; SDIDG will not purchase or bring any outside items for the installation.)

4. Viola…8 hours later, your Refresh is complete!

 

*A few notes: 

  1. The day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. The clock starts when they arrive on site.

  2. The client, not SDIDG, will purchase all items.

  3. All pricetags will be removed by the client.

  4. All returns will be the client's responsibility; SDIDG will not return or reselect items.

  5. The client will be responsible for hiring a handyman to install any large installations of photos or art.

  6. Any delivery of larger furniture pieces that the client and SDIDG designer select during shopping day must have a separate delivery service at the client's expense. (*SDIDG will only return to the client's homes to place these items if a new package is purchased.)

  7. SDIDG designer will be given an hour break to eat lunch.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY:

DESIGN FIRM WOULD LIKE PERMISSION TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER ONSITE AFTER COMPLETION OF PROJECT TO TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS FOR WEBSITE, AND SOCIAL MEDIA USE.

 

***DESIGN FIRM AND CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE RELATIONSHIP CREATED BY THIS AGREEMENT IS THAT OF AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AND THAT DESIGN FIRM SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED AN EMPLOYEE OF CLIENT FOR FEDERAL OR STATE TAX PURPOSES. THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE GOVERNED AND CONSTRUED UNDER LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. CLIENT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD DESIGNER HARMLESS, AGAINST ANY CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, AND EXPENSE (INCLUDING COURT COSTS AND ACTUAL ATTORNEY FEES) ARISING OUT OF WORK PERFORMED BY CONTRACTORS ON BEHALF OF CLIENT, FOR ANY FAILURE OR DELAY CAUSED BY EVENTS BEYOND DESIGN FIRM'S REASONABLE CONTROL. INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, FAILURE OR DELAYS IN TRANSPORTATION, COMPLETION, OR DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS, MATERIALS, OR SERVICES. EITHER PARTY MAY CANCEL THIS AGREEMENT BY DELIVERY OF WRITTEN NOTICE TO THE OTHER PARTY WITH 15 DAYS NOTICE.

 

SDIDG WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MEANS, METHODS, OR PROCEDURES OF CONSTRUCTION, FABRICATION, DELIVERY, & INSTALLATION, OR SAFETY PRECAUTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH ORDERS, FOR THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF THE CONTRACTOR OR ANY, SUBCONTRACTOR, SUPPLIER, OR OTHER PERSON PERFORMING THE WORK ON CLIENT'S BEHALF; OR, FOR ANY FAILURE OF THEM TO MEET ANY SCHEDULES OR COMPLETION DATES. IN ALL SITUATIONS, SDIDG WILL ENDEAVOR TO SPECIFY PRODUCTS AND SOURCES THAT ARE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CLIENT AND THEIR PROJECT. ALL DRAWINGS PROVIDED BY SDIDG ARE TO BE CONSIDERED CONCEPTUAL TO CONVEY THE FINISHED DESIGN AND ARE NOT INTENDED FOR CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES. ANY DRAWINGS PROVIDED WILL BE SUFFICIENT TO PRESENT TO A CONTRACTOR OR WORKROOM TO CONVEY THE OVERALL DESIGN DESIRED AND TO RECEIVE ESTIMATES IF DESIRED. ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE TO BE VERIFIED ON-SITE BY ANY CONTRACTOR OR SUPPLIER BEFORE ANY FINAL BIDS FOR MATERIALS OR LABOR ARE SUBMITTED.
